1991 by Gordon Young. A group of statues in Shap limestone with a polished finish depicting the three ages of man. There are three sets of paired figures representing childhood, maturity and old age. Located outside the Registrar's Office. Commissioned by Gateshead MBC. Sponsored by Gateshead MBC, Northern Arts, Henry Moore Foundation.
