Description

Two air raid shelters of WW2 in Rutherford School's playing fields. Lay in a north-south arrangement and surrounded by banks on all four sides. The shelters each measure 14m x 7m. Now levelled. Lie within a Scheduled section of Hadrian's Wall ditch (SAM 28/10).
