Description

Five air raid shelters of WW2 seen on air photographs. In school playing fields between Condercum Road and Conhope Lane. Arranged north-south surrounded by banks on all four sides. Each shelter was 15m x 7m. The whole complex was 90m x 25m. Now levelled.
