Narrow ridge and furrow of Post Medieval date seen as earthworks and cropmarks on air photographs. Many of these remains have been destroyed by development. Some areas remain as levelled earthworks or cropmarks, particularly those in the area between Cleadon Park and Whiteleas and Temple Memorial Park. School playing fields to the north may retain earthworks.
