          Description
Barrage balloon sites mapped from air photographs of 1946. A line of three mooring circles were noted, defined by concentric rings of mooring posts, each 25m in diameter. A British Pathe newsreel (http://www.britishpathe.com/video/waaf-barrage-balloon-school) shows the mooring posts as concrete blocks set flush into the ground and with metal attachment rings in their tops.
