Description
Baroque revival style. Spacially complex and brimming with decoration. Was called Tivoli Villa until 1930. An eroded coat of arms gives a construction date of 1889. Built in red-brown brick with a huge Baroque oeil-de-boeuf window , Arts & Crafts style chimneys, shaped gables, original timber Victorian conservatory and lead covered ogee-roofed oriel window. It retains its timber sash windows but has modern Velux-style rooflights. "One of the conservation area's most intiguing secrets" {1}.
