Description
This walled garden is shown on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map located to the northwest of Dunston Hill House. It was probably built in the early to mid-19th century of brick with sandstone copings and a stone facing on the outer north wall. It was situated on a south-east-facing slope. Historic maps indicate it had a glasshouse with a heating plant serving it. The garden was recorded prior to clearance in 2021.
