Description

A First World War practice trench is visible as earthworks on air photographs, at NZ 3487 7425. The trench zig-zags for a distance of approximately 165m along the coast. Further trenches abut the first. It is located in the same position as a Second World War aircraft obstruction (UID 1464908). The feature appears on the latest 1988 Ordnance Survey vertical photography.
