Description
Building-stone, 8 x 5 x 5 inches, (narrowing to 3 inches at one end) found in 1953 in the southern face of the north mound of the Vallum after slipping from its position, at a point 390 yards west of turret 7b, west of Copperas Lane, Denton. Its present whereabouts is unknown. Inscribed: c(enturia) Atisi / (.. "The century of Atisius... (built this)"
