The farmhouse (No. 38) was rebuilt in brick in the 1920s but remains of the original stone barns and byers survive in the yard to the rear. The walls are built of a variety of different stone which may have been sourced from the beach. Nos. 39 and 40 are white rendered and was once the village abattoir and butchers shop. It later became a sweet shop.
