Description
Low Farm was farmed by the Hutchinson family (Mr J.T Hutchinson). The farm was owned by the Dean and Chapter of Durham. It was later leased to the North Hetton Coal Company and was eventually owned by the National Coal Board. The last family to live there were the Adamsons (not farmers). The farm was demolished around 1941.
