Description
Tulloch Arms was being leasd by Robert Deuchar for £200 per annum when it closed in 1934, a victim of the magistrates' programme of licence-reduction. In their defence, the owners of the Tulloch Arms had unsuccessfully argued that their was a special case, being 'the type of house frequented by people preferring comfortable accommodation in moderate sized rooms rather than the noise of the long bar and the large smoke room'.
