Description
An east-west aligned ditch which turned to the south at the western end was identified during an evaluation in advance of development. The fill contained palaeoenvironmental remains compatible with the limited palaeoenvironmental evidence for early medieval sites in the region, however further excavation dated it to the post-medieval period.
