Description
Wagon Building Works, by the North Eastern Railway Pontop and South Shields Railway (HER ref. 2290) at South Shields. Built for the Stanhope and Tyne Railway, so opened c.1834, the works closed in 1862 and were replaced by sheds at Simonside (HER ref. 2561).
