Description
In addition to the flints from Site 14A, south of Clara Vale, Cocks found two jet discs. One is a disc of jet or cannel coal, shaped by scraping, with a perforation started on one side. The other, found on the north side of a gravelly ridge on 9th April 1953, was half of a large disc of jet or cannel coal with a worked hollow in the centre of each side, showing pecking.
