Description
These reflected medieval tenement divisions. Medeival ditches and pits which reflect medieval tenement divisions and post-medieval ditches, pits a culvert and walls were recorded during an excavation at St Bartholomew's CofE School. The excavation followed an earlier series of archaeological trial trenching. Some of the post-medieval features related to an access route to Benton Farm shown on the First Edition Plan 1859.
