Description
A 19th century red brick pond with a concrete plastered sides and base. The red bricks have a rectangular frog and are stamped with the letters ‘B.R.E’. The bricks measured 9 inch x 4.5 inch x 3 inch. The pond is shown on the 1897 Ordnance Survey map but not on the 1855 Ordnance Survey.
