Description
A small horizontal arch type dam is shown on the 1st edition OS of 1858, some 40m downstream from the Waggonway Bridge (67). The map shows no trace of a millpond nor any associated mill features. Possibly this was a water management feature, associated with the Freehold Pit (71). It is not shown on subsequent editions of the OS. No visible remains.
