Bound for Delfziel and Groningen with coal, she was a wooden sailing vessel. `The Dutch vessel VROW ANNEGINA, Postema, master, loaden with coals, etc., sailed from Sunderland on Sunday evening, on her intended voyage to Delfziel; she had not been long out of the harbour before she was met by the NESTOR, Atcheson master, when, owing to some mismanagement, the vessels came in contact, and the Dutch vessel sustained so much damage, that she immediately went down. Crew saved. The top of her masts may be seen at low water off Hendon' {Durham County Advertiser}.
