Originally a rear access to The Cedars (HER 12465) and known as Cedars End, this unadopted raod is used by pedestrians as a link between Ryhope Road and Montpellier Terrace. It is in a state of disrepair and would benefit from enhancement works. Montpellier Terrace, which links Cedars End to Burdon Road was laid out as another rear access for The Cedars. It is unadopted and in poor condition, with the exception of the entrance which has a series of attractive stone setts.

Was South Hill Hostel for Aged Men, now South Hill College. A fine Italianate symmetrical villa, architecturally impressive with a large Tuscan porch. It is the only detached property in the street. A number of relatively sympathetic extensions have been added. There is a magnificent brick boundary wall. In 2014 planning permission was granted for the demolition of the east annexe and the erection of two three storey extensions and single storey classroom. The building is owned by Education & Services for People with Autism Ltd (ESPA). Prior to the demolition, the building was photographed by Academy Geomatics Chartered Land Surveyors.
